      Hot & cold packs are made of durable nylon material inside which there is an active gel which accumulates cold or warmth. The packs are placed in elastic band fastened by Velcro with possibility of taking them out. The packs are universal and reusable.   They are used in cold or hot therapy to stop swelling, reduce the production of lymph and reduce pain caused by injuries.    INDICATIONS TO HOT THERAPY:  

      • reduction of pain
      • joint contractures, scars, post-surgical adhesion
      • some paralysis of peripheral nerves
      • injuries of ligaments and joint capsules
      • joint diseases of different etiology
      • degenerative and deforming changes
      • RA, AS
      • cystitis
      • as a preparation to physical excersices.

        INDICATIONS TO COLD THERAPY:

      • conditions after injuries and overstraining of locomotor organs (e.g. tears of muscles, ligaments, etc.)
      • joint dislocations and twists
      • inflammation of periarticular tissues
      • acute RA
      • pain states in the course of osteoarthritis
      • neuralgia and pain syndromes
      • hypertonia
      • to lower temperature in states of subfebrile and fever
      • tissues swelling
